Grief Awareness Event at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital
FREE Event - Grief Awareness
Wednesday 6th December 2023
10am - 3pm
East Atrium Level 1, NNUH Colney Lane, Norwich
This FREE event offers an opportunity to visit stands where charities, support services and local businesses will be there with a common factor of supporting people in Norfolk with loss and grief.
Making your own end of life plans has a huge impact on supporting those who are left behind.
Conversations about end of life are often called difficult, which of course they can be, especially so when they are left too late.
In having plans made around your end of life care and what is to happen after your death, it offers those close to you an opportunity to know they are doing things for you that are in alignment to what you would like, as opposed to having to guess and wonder if they are doing the right thing.
All of which supports them as they take steps in a new chapter of their lives, without a very special person by their side.
The stands will be in the East Atrium of Level 1 of the hospital and I look forward to seeing you there.
If you have any questions in relation to any of the above, please email me contact@leavinggracefully.co.uk or call 07901 888122
Leaving Gracefully 6 part Online Workshop

(therafter 6.30pm - 7.30pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month )
Delivered online via Zoom
This 6 part Leaving Gracefully Workshop is offered to support you in filling in your Leaving Gracefully End of Life Planning pack, whilst offering inspiration to complete the steps along the way.
Delivered via Zoom - Starting on Thursday 18th January at 6.30pm - 8pm and following on from that point on the 3nd Thursday of every month from 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Each month we will cover a relevant topic that supports us in filling in the Leaving Gracefully pack. Each session offers the opportunity to discuss and share any thoughts and feelings we have on the subject, whilst also covering the practicalities, from the importance of making a Will, appointing Lasting Power of Attorney, considering an Advance Decision to Refuse Treatment, Advance care Planning, Funeral wishes and so much more.
Over the 6 sessions we will explore the many angles of what is necessary. In this there will be encouragement as we work together to organise and record our plans, whilst supporting each other greatly in this type of group work.
Making future plans does not have to be a laborious task, it can actually be quite refreshing.
Booking is essential as places are limited.
