Our Mission and Values Statement
Leaving Gracefully aims to reduce the number of people negatively impacted by unclear end-of-life plans, in the knowing that it truly supports all members of the community to take responsibility for considering, planning and recording their end of life wishes and communicating them with those close to them. This in turn may reduce the distress in someone who is caring for a loved one and also when they are grieving the loss of their loved one. All of which in turn supports the journey of bereavement that may lie ahead

Helping to raise awareness and encourage conversations around death and dying by liaising with other organisations who have an interest in end-of-life planning, including solicitors and will writers, funeral homes, burial grounds. By connecting with the general public, offering workshops and talks in order to engage with people from all walks of life, in the knowing that death is something we will all face
Leaving Gracefully are committed to using their profit to enable more people to plan for their end-of-life care and plans by:

Supporting people to consider their own end-of-life wishes and encouraging them to take responsibility to effectively record them

Proactively seeking opportunities to promote, and reach as wide a range of people as possible, in order to bring this topic into general conversation

Continuing to develop workshops and resources that meet specific needs
